These terms cover your use of the PNLCS community forum at https://community.pnlcs.com (“the forum”). The forum is run by Panelica, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or posting, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the forum.
These terms apply only to the forum. The PNLCS software itself is open source under the MIT License, and your use of it is governed by that license, not by these terms.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t impersonate others.
- You can delete your account from your profile while your posts are less than 60 days old; after that, email us and we’ll do it.
What you post
- You keep the rights to what you post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, translate and copy it on the forum, and to keep it there after you leave so that conversations stay readable. You can ask us to remove or anonymise your posts when you delete your account.
- Code you post is shared under the MIT License unless you say otherwise in the post.
- Posts may be translated automatically and summarised by AI tools so readers in other languages can follow them. Translations may contain mistakes; the original post is what counts.
- Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share, including other people’s personal data, customer data, passwords, API keys or licence keys.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the forum to:
- break the law, or help someone else do so
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post hateful content
- spam, advertise unrelated products, or post links only to promote your site
- post malware, or publish details of a security vulnerability before it’s fixed (report those privately, see the security policy in GitHub - Panelica/pnlcs: 🧾 Open-source WHMCS alternative — self-hosted hosting billing & client portal. Laravel 13 + MySQL. Invoicing, domains, SSL, tickets, reseller, multi-language (30 locales), 16 themes. Free & MIT-licensed. Docs: https://docs.pnlcs.com · GitHub)
- scrape the forum at a rate that harms the service, or try to get around its limits or security
The community guidelines at Guidelines - PNLCS Community explain how we expect people to treat each other.
Moderation
We may edit, hide, move or remove posts, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or the guidelines. We try to explain why, but we don’t have to. We aren’t obliged to review everything that’s posted.
Advice on the forum
Answers on the forum come from community members and from the PNLCS team, as they see it at the time. They aren’t professional advice and aren’t a support contract. Test changes before using them on a live installation, and keep backups.
Disclaimers and liability
The forum is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the forum, and our total liability to you is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. When the change is significant, we’ll announce it in the Announcements category before it takes effect. If you keep using the forum after that, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be heard by the courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
